Once again Labour has something to be ashamed of. Labour MP Keith Vaz is being investigated for using his parliamentary position to try and steer a UK court's actions by letter.
The bigger shock is that our own MP, Virendra Sharma, is said to be a signatory to Keith Vaz's letter.
I am flabbergasted that our Labour MP should be connected with such sleaze within the short time he has filled the role of MP.
I have read the above statement published and I suppose this is accurate. Could somebody interview Mr Sharma and get a response?
Is this report true? If it is then I would like to know, so that I may add my voice to the standards committee.
I have had enough of realising my MP has done so little for the town but taken full advantage to enjoy a list of freebies in foreign travel on some pretext or another.
The constituents here are worried about the credit crunch and the steep rise of energy costs and its effect on our retired and elderly folk this coming winter, while he goes swanning off, with others funding the trips.
Any wonder that would-be Labour voters and traditional Labour voters are withdrawing their support in droves. Sad enough that Gordon Brown is being blamed for so much that is not of his making, but with MPs like these, the first casualty is honesty.
As from July 22, 2008 and until October 6, 2008, how nice for our hard working MPs - a short break.
