Cllr Moylan has virtually become a professional local politician and that makes it difficult to stay in tune with what borough residents want.
So typical is the acquisition of a ozone-layer piercing 12 MPG £130,000 luxury Bentley (plus a full-time driver) when he and the cabinet are exhorting us all to watch our carbon footprint !
This shocking piece of extravagance at a time when we are in the midst of a dire economic situation demonstrates a certain detachment from reality.

There are many Tory councillors who live away from Knightsbridge, yet they do a superb job; I think of Shireen Ritchie and Nick Paget Brown.
The roll call of those in the borough, who share my concern about his inability to heed their views is long and it is distinguished!
