Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died in a collision in Ickenham.

Officers were called by London Ambulance Service at 5.48pm yesterday evening (Monday, August 11)to reports of a collision between a motorcyclist and three cars on Long Lane. 

Police, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended to find the motorcyclist with head injuries. 

The 54-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is yet to take place.

Early reports suggest the motorcycle hit the back of a Honda HRV before hitting oncoming traffic. 

No-one else was injured in the collision.
