Part of an industrial unit on New Years Green Lane, Harefield was damaged by fire yesterday afternoon.

London Fire Brigade has said it is believed the unit is used as a joinery.

The Brigade was called at 1.11pm and the fire was under control by 2.33pm on Sunday. Four fire engines and over 20 firefighters and officers from Ruislip, Harrow, Hillingdon and Northolt fire stations were called to put out the blaze.

The Brigade’s fire investigators are now looking into what caused it.

On Friday Northwood Road became flooded after a water main burst.

More as we get it.
