I am surethat anyone who has the misfortune to live under the flightpath of the southern runway is already aware of an alarming increase in the number of early morning flights.

The southern runway seems to be having them every day now, ie at 4.30am, even when we suffer the last evening flight at 11.30pm, which means five hours without planes unless they are late or early, which frequently happens.

The communications team say that this is in order and has been agreed. By whom they do not say. If we have flights all day it would drive us all insane, especially the people who do not have to work and are retired.

I have lived here for 40 years and I have never experienced anything like the noise we are having now, so how much more do they want to inflict on us?

What can we do? I am 70 and very worried.
