A graffiti mural featuring former Disney star Miley Cyrus and a disapproving Mickey Mouse has appeared on a wall close in Hammersmith town centre.

The diva sparked international furore last September with her risque music video for Wrecking Ball in which she swings on a chain and ball in a white crop top and knickers and later naked.

Now a mystery street artist has recreated the iconic image on a wall close to the Eventim Apollo, where Miley performed in 2008 at the height of her fame as wholesome Disney character Hannah Montana.

The controversial star is pictured against an orange wall crashing into the Walt Disney castle logo with Mickey Mouse looking on with hands on his hips and an angry scowl. Hammersmith is also home to the Disney Store head office, in nearby Queen Caroline Street.

The picture has surfaced on Facebook and there has been some speculation that it may have been created by the artist 'Banksy' whose real identity is unknown, or someone trying to emulate him. Have a look at this selection of Banksy murals and see whether the Miley Disney creation could be by the same artist.
