Education secretary Michael Gove is on a visit to a Sikh free school in Hounslow this morning (4).

The Nishkam School on London Road in Isleworth which opened in September last year has welcomed Mr Gove to their school.

He will be meeting teachers and the school's 100 pupils  - 50 each in reception and year one - in their temporary home in a former office block opposite the Rising Sun pub.

Two weeks ago, a government report claimed Nishkam free school could affect 'long term financial viability' of Kingsley Academy.

The multi-faith free school was over subscribed before it even opened last year, with nearly two application for every place.

Reporter Robert Cumber is at the school visit.
