MERLIN star Rupert Young - who plays Sir Leon in the popular series - opened the Christmas fair at Godolphin and Latymer School, which raised more than £30,000 for primary schools and charity.
The impressive amount will go towards the school's own bursary fund, the Make–a-Wish Foundation, Whatever the Need and nearby Lena Gardens Primary School.
Teacher Julia Hodgkins said: "Our bazaar is a wonderful example of the lively and vibrant community that is Godolphin and Latymer.
"We are thrilled the amazing amount will be shared by our bursary fund, with donations also helping good causes and a local school."
A further £8,000 was raised at a 'hanky doodle auction' featuring designs in homage to musical stars including Annie Lennox, Justin Bieber and Girls Aloud, with funds going to Flora Gardens, John Betts, Brackenbury and Lena Gardens schools.
