CONCERNED residents and commuters are being urged to attend a meeting on the future of 'unsafe' Gunnersbury train station.
A meeting about making improvements to the station in Chiswick High Road, was meant to be held on Monday (7), but was put back to Thursday November 24 after the council had trouble clarifying the capacity of the station.
Residents group, West Chiswick and Gunnersbury Society (WCGS) have long campaigned for changes to the station and insist the station is currently unsafe and over-used.
Hounslow Council have announced will make some changes to the station's facilities but the group are worried the proposed improvements will not go far enough.
Marie Rabouhans of WCGS said she would like to see more changes to be made to the station's facilities to ensure it was not a danger to users.
