Youngsters have the chance to learn about the mysterious owls that call Minet Country Park home.

Children between the ages of five and 11 are invited to take part in a special half-term event on Wednesday, October 29 between 1pm and 4pm.

On the day, inquisitive bird fans can join a hunt for owl pellets and brave youngsters will get the chance to dissect them to see what - or whooooo - the owl has eaten.

There will also be games and crafts at the session held at the Visitors Centre in the country park in Springfield Road, Hayes.

The day, which is organised by A Rocha UK, the Christian charity working to protect and restore the natural world, costs £3 and booking is essential.
