An artist who has works displayed in an Acton pub is hoping his latest pieces will be as popular.

Kevin Cronin, 47, of Victoria Road, North Acton, is trying to get his latest art - a painting named Small Talk of a British paratrooper with an Iraqi girl and another called Independent Square Kiev 2014- into the Red Lion and Pineapple pub, Acton.

‘Small Talk’

He currently has three pieces displayed in the pub in the High Street ; a painting of London’s Parliament Square, a red phone box and west Acton tube station, and is hoping people will be interested in his more political canvases.

Both new paintings have been produced in oil paints and are 40 by 30 inches.

The prices will be subject to offer.

Mr Cronin said: "I'm a struggling artist. I have sold three paintings in the last year."
