Mayor of London Boris Johnson met with community leaders and youths in Wembley to discuss putting an end to gang violence.

Mr Johnson called for smarter solutions to gang-related youth crime at the Gang, Gun and Weapon Practitioners' Forum annual seminar, in the Sattavis Patidar Centre, in Forty Avenue, Wembley, today.

The Conservative mayor met with representatives from the Home Office, Youth Justice Board and Metropolitan Police. He also chatted with youths and ex-offenders about possible solutions to violent crime.
