A mass global walk for freedom demonstration on anti-slavery day attempts to raise awareness of modern day slavery highlighting human trafficking , tomorrow (18).

The 27for27 walk will involve 27 young people in 27 London boroughs including six west London boroughs for the 27 million men, women and children trapped in slavery.

Volunteers in Hounslow, Ealing , Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster , Hillingdon and Brent will hand out flyers while their mouths are taped up, symbolising the millions of slaves deprived of voice, basic human rights and freedom worldwide.

Last year, 600 people took part in the demonstrations.

The A21 campaign is the driving force behind the movement which exists to abolish injustice acts such as human trafficking in the 21st century.

All teams will gather at Old Palace Yard in Westminster before heading off to their borough to spread the mesasge.
