A MAN who was stabbed to death in Neasden has been named.

Paul Royston Herbert, 54, suffered multiple stab wounds after being assaulted in North Circular Road, near the junction with Randall Avenue on June 11.

He was taken to Northwick Park Hospital but died at 1.45pm last Thursday (July 1).

A post mortem took place at Northwick Park Mortuary on Friday (July 2). His cause of death was established as a pulmonary embolism caused by a stab wound.

An inquest is due to open today (Thursday, July 8) at Barnet Coroners' Court. A 35-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
