A MAN was rushed to hospital following a collision between a car and a bus in Hanwell yesterday morning.

The 30-year-old was taken to the major trauma unit at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington after the incident in Boston Road at about 6.20am. Part of the wall in front of a house was knocked over during the crash.

A 195 bus was involved in the collision at the junction of Cardiff Road. The route was closed, creating traffic problems and gridlock on the M4.

A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said staff treated six people at the scene for a number of injuries.

Two other people were also taken to Ealing Hospital for treatment.
