Police are appealing for help in tracing three black men after a teenager was stabbed in the stomach at a bus stop a week ago.

The 16-year-old boy from Kensington and Chelsea was stabbed on Harrow Road at 3:30pm on Monday (March 31) after being approached by three black men in their early twenties.

An ambulance took the boy to a West London Hospital to be treated for a single stab wound to the stomach. He has been kept in for treatment.

A police spokesman said: "On Monday at 15:35hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing. The victim, a 16-year-old boy, said that he was at a bus stop in Harrow Road when he was approached by three unknown suspects. One of the suspects approached the victim and stabbed him in the stomach before the victim got on a bus to St Thomas’s Road. It is not known how the suspects left the scene.

"There have been no arrests and officers are keeping an open mind to the motive of the attack. The suspects are described as three black men in their early twenties."
