A man was allegedly stabbed in broad daylight near Westfield shopping centre on Tuesday evening (August 25).

The man aged around 30 was taken to hospital with injuries which police have described as “not serious”.

London's Air Ambulance landed in Shepherd’s Bush following the incident on Caxton Road, at the junction of Sterne Road, at around 5.30pm.

Ambulance crew paramedics were also in attendance as well as the air ambulance, and detectives from Hammersmith and Fulham are investigating.

Police said a man was arrested near to the scene on suspicion of GBH and remains in custody in a west London police station.
