A man died at the intu Uxbridge multi-storey car park after falling from an upper floor shortly before 4pm today (Friday).

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4.19, say police, who say although unexplained the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Eyewitnesses said the white man was dressed in a suit.

Ambulances were on scene within minutes close to the main car park entrance in Chippendale Way and the London Air Ambulance attended.

Police partly closed the road and directed traffic away from the scene.

Officers could be seen setting up a blue and white tent inside the car park entrance.

This is the second such death in Uxbridge in 24 hours. A man died after a fall at Brunel University yesterday (Thursday).

Update 6:10pm: Hillingdon Police confirm they have informed the man's family and are preparing a report for the coroner. They are not treating the death as suspicious.
