A MAN has died after being struck by a train at Rayners Lane station at approximately 12.03pm.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers were called to Rayners Lane London Underground station today after a report that a man had been struck by a Piccadilly line train.
Medics from the London Ambulance Service also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A BTP spokesperson said: “The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the man and inform his family.”
Travel services on the Metropolitan Line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Ickenham are currently down alongside the Piccadilly Line also having no service between South Harrow and Uxbridge.
Tickets are still valid on local buses and Chiltern Railways. A good service remains on the rest of both lines.
