A FOOTBALL freestyler broke the world record for bouncing a football on his lips, in Isleworth.

Daniel Cutting has carved himself quite a niche as an internationally recognised football freestyle legend and last Friday he did not disappoint when he managed to bounce a football 158 times consecutively in one minute on his lips, breaking his own record of 153 times.

The 25-year-old was encouraged by the fact he was doing it to celebrate the end of Movember at Goals 5-a-side Soccer Centre in Gillette Corner, Isleworth.

Goals is an official partner of the moustache growing initiative to raise money and awareness of prostate and testicular cancer, and with help from tournaments at each of its 43 centres across the UK, the football centres managed to raise £8,000.

Just after his achievement, Daniel said: “I’m absolutely buzzing, I definitely got over 153 which was my previous record, I can’t believe it I’m very happy. Even though I already had the world record it’s always nice to push yourself to be the best you can be and it was great to be a part of Goals fundraising efforts for Movember”.

Michael Gibb, national marketing manager for Goals said: “We created a bit of history by becoming the first official tournament partner of the charity, raised a great deal of money for them and had a lot of fun into the bargain.

“Overall we had over 3000 players up and down the country entering into the spirit of Movember by taking part and growing Mo’s; Daniels achievement on Friday was a great finale to the month.”
