A MAN has been arrested and charged with robbery after a dramatic raid on a Wembley jewellers shop.

Police were contacted on Wednesday at 11.45am after the alarm at Raj Jewellers, Ealing Road, was activated.

They arrived at the scene with the London Fire Brigade to find a car on fire outside the shop, and a quantity of jewellery missing from the premises.
