A 47-YEAR-OLD Harrow man will face a judge over an allegation he deliberately set fire to Harrow East Conservative Association's premises.

Paul Eames, 47, of Artillery Place, appeared at Brent Magistrates' Court on Friday  when, due to the seriousness of the indictment, his case was sent automatically to Harrow Crown Court where there will be a plea and case management hearing tomorrow (Friday).

The 47-year-old was arrested and charged by Harrow Police on Wednesday last week with arson at the association's offices in Headstone Lane, Harrow, overnight between Sunday March 11 and the following morning.

He was remanded back in custody until his next court date.
