A Heathrow worker dubbed the 'lyrical terrorist' for her disturbing poems written on till receipts about Islamic extremism has had her jail sentence overturned.

Samina Malik (pictured), from Southall, was given a nine-month suspended jail sentence in December and became the first woman to be found guilty of storing terrorist-related material on her computer.

But yesterday the 24-year-old won her appeal, with the judge ruling her conviction was unsafe because the material she kept would not give practical assistance to someone planning an act of terrorism.
