LYRIC Theatre pantomime dame Sarah the Cook was the half-time entertainment in front of 25,000 football fans at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Fulham FC fans needed some cheering up at the interval of their Premier League clash with moneybags Manchester City as they were losing 3-0.

So Sarah, embarking on a series of public appearances to plug the theatre's Christmas panto Dick Whittington and his Cat, took to the pitch with club announcer David Hamilton and mascot Billy the Badger.

The show at the theatre, in Lyric Square, begins on tomorrow (27/11) with borough residents or people who work in Hammersmith and Fulham able to bag free tickets.

All you have to do is provide proof of address or employment to the ticket office before 7pm on Saturday to claim four tickets.

The panto runs until January 8. Tickets cost between £10-£25. Call 0871 2211722 or visit www.lyric.co.uk .
