A 30-YEAR-OLD was stabbed after a fight in Harrow Road, Sudbury, in the early hours of this morning and forensic officers are scouring a sealed-off area around the shops.

The pavement outside CK Pharmacy and Swan Newsagents is surrounded by a cordon and we are awaiting more information from the police.

The owner of Glenmore Property Services, an estate agents a few doors down from the pharmacy, said: "The forensic officers are walking up and down, looking for some sort of weapon.

"It looks like somebody was seriously injured, and they were bleeding.

"I don't know if it was a stabbing or somebody was shot."

A London Ambulance Services spokeswoman said: "We were called at 1.25am to reports of a 30-year-old with stab wounds following a fight at Harrow Road.

"We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder responder iin a car and we took the patient to hospital."
