MY MOTHER-IN-LAW lives in Uxbridge, and I am very lucky she has kept me up to date with the news in her area. I now live in Perth, Australia.
It was very hard to leave my friends and family, but I felt it was the best future for my children.
I feel Britain has let a lot of British folk down, and it has forced us to go to great extremes, like moving to the other side of the world.
But now I hear you are going to let me down even more by destroying my mum's resting place [How can they threaten dead for a runway?, Gazette, June 11].
No words could ever tell you how wonderful and beautiful my mum was to me, and I miss her so much.
She always used to say how important it was for her to be placed in Cherry Lane.
Being so far away is hard. I have four brothers and two sisters, but knowing my mum is resting in peace, where she wanted to be, gives me great comfort.
Look after what's left of Britain, leave people to R.I.P.
