The satirical singer-songwriter Leon Rosselson is among the special guests lined up to appear at the Hounslow-Ramallah Twinning Association's AGM this Friday.

The former That Was The Week That Was star will be joined by ex-Brentford FC forward Ryan Peters and Sir Vincent Fean, who was British Consul General to Jerusalem until earlier this year.

Brentford FC Academy coach Josh Hinckson completes the line-up for the free event at Hounslow Civic Centre, celebrating Hounslow's links with the Palestinian town of Ramallah, which date back to 1988.

Mr Hinkson and Mr Peters will talk about their football trip to Ramallah and the West Bank earlier this summer, while Sir Vincent will discuss his time in Palestine from 2010-14.

Mr Rosselson, whose music has been covered by Billy Bragg and who is also a children's author, will perform some of his trenchantly humorous songs about Palestine.

* The Hounslow-Ramallah Twinning Association's AGM will take place in Committee Room One at the Civic Centre, in Lampton Road, Hounslow, this Friday (October 10), from 7pm-9pm.
