A-level students at Harrow College quizzed Liberal Democrat politician Lembit Opik this morning on economics, housing and social welfare.

The Montgomeryshire MP gave a 30-minute speech at the college's Harrow on the Hill campus in Lowlands Road, Harrow, before took questions from the floor.

Mr Opik, his party's former spokesman for business, enterprise and reform, and also an ex-spokesman for housing, discussed housing and housing policy, welfare policies, the recession and the state of politics today.
