POLICE have released these images as part of their investigation into a sexual assault on a teenager in Kingston town centre back in February.

The victim, an 18-year-old girl, has spent the night of February 18 at a club, and was sitting alone on a bench near BHS, in Eden Walk, when a man approached her. He put his arm around her and then sexually assaulted her.

The victim managed to pull away from him and ran to the nearby Kingston Police Station.

Her attacker is described as a dark skinned white man in his late 20s, about 5' 10" tall, and spoke with a heavy accent. He was wearing a duffle coat with the hood up and a beanie hat.

DC Joanna Finch, of the Met's Operation Sapphire, said: "We are very keen to speak with the man in the CCTV as we know he was in the area at the time of the assault, and ask for anyone who knows who or where he is to contact us."

Anyone with information can contact Operation Sapphire on 020 8721 5903 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
