I write to comment on the story that Councillor Sharma costs Ealing residents £15,000 since he became an MP.
This works out £3,000 per meeting. I believe this includes one meeting, which he attended for just five minutes to avoid his disqualification from the council.
In his defence he says that he cannot be both places at the same time, but who is asking him to be? Perhaps it is the greed from getting £15,000 which he pockets so unashamedly.
It is interesting to note that Mr Sharma attacks Cllr Singh on an inconsequential ground for moving over to the Conservatives and not about his track record and hard work.
Mr Sharma is comparing apples with pears to deflect criticism from his incompetency and underperformance as an MP.
Get real Mr Sharma: we now miss the late Mr Khabra, whom we criticised as an MP - he was a lot better than you.
