Temporary road closures have been lifted following the accident involving a motorcyclist and pedestrian on Kew Bridge, today (21).

The road traffic collision just before 4pm which caused severe delays back to Chiswick roundabout and Chalker's Corner has now been cleared.

A man believed to be the pedestrian and in his 20s has a leg injury and was rushed to West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth as a priority patient.

A LAS spokesman added: "A man reported to be in his 20s was treated for a leg injury.

"He was taken as a priority to West Middlesex Hospital."

A police spokesman said: "We understand that a male pedestrian sustained an injury to the leg following a collision with a Honda motorcycle.

"The injured man was taken to hospital.

"His condition is not thought to be life threatening."

No arrests have been made.
