A 'street drinker' has been handed a five year ASBO banning him from entering Wealdstone and carrying any open vessel of alcohol within the borough.

Kevin McNally of Rawson Street, Nottingham, was handed an ASBO (anti-social behaviour order) on July 16 after being convicted in January for assault on police, resisting arrest, obstructing a constable and failing to comply with the direction of a constable and failing to disperse.

The order states that McNally must not enter the Wealdstone dispersal zone, unless passing through on a train or tube and to not carry any open vessel of alcohol in any public place within the borough of Harrow.

The order will last for five years, a spokesperson from the Harrow Anti-Social Behaviour Unit said: “We will continue to deal with street drinkers and anti social behaviour in a robust manner. This ASBO will protect the public from crime, ASB and intimidation.”
