A young boy from Isleworth stepped onto Wembley's hallowed turf with Yaya Toure before Sunday's FA Community Shield match.

Vinay Keshav, aged seven, got the once in a lifetime opportunity to escort the Manchester City star onto the pitch after winning a competition on McDonald's KickStart website.

"To walk out onto the Wembley pitch was brilliant! Seeing all the fans and hearing all of the noise that the crowd made was amazing – all of my friends at school are really jealous," said the delighted youngster.

Arsenal ran out comfortable 3-0 winners in the annual season curtain-raiser between Premier League champions City and FA Cup holders Arsenal.

World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst, McDonald’s director of football, said: "Walking out at Wembley in front of a large crowd was an experience I will never forget and I’m sure Vinay won't either."
