An Isleworth schoolgirl's haunting handiwork could join Nigel Farage and EU debt collectors in the list of things causing David Cameron sleepless nights this Hallloween.

Jind Kaur Matharoo, of Nishkam School West London, in London Road, Isleworth, won the chance to carve a pumpkin for the Prime Minister.

The six-year-old delivered the early Halloween treat yesterday to Mr Cameron's home, where it will join police officers in guarding No 10 Downing Street during this witching season.

Jind won the chance to give the prestigious address a spooky makeover in a competition run by Brentford and Isleworth MP Mary Macleod.

Ms Macleod, who gave the youngster and her parents a guided tour of the Prime Minister's residence in his absence, said she was hugely impressed with the finished product, which came adorned with spiders and a skeleton, and topped with a witch's hat.

"It's an amazing pumpkin. Much better than anything I could do and it's great to see it sitting in the window of No 10 for the Prime Minister and all his visitors to see," she added.

"It's nice to put Hounslow on the map and showcase the borough's impressive artistic talent."
