London-based Japanese noodle restaurant Wagamama will still come to intu Uxbridge, a spokesman for the shopping mall's parent company has told the Gazette.

The vast space framed by scaffolding and swathed in dust sheets outside the ODEON foyer has been earmarked for the popular canteen-style Asian food outlet for some months, and work began a few weeks ago.

intu Uxbridge is for sale, and rumours are swirling about a possible deal to sell the High Street shopping centre for a sum above £200m. intu Properties Plc refuses to comment on any potential buyer.
