Andrew Bourn from Ickenham is excitedly preparing for Saturday's live final after winning the public vote in Saturday's semi final show.

But a grey cloud could be looming over their future in the competition.

His band mate Adam Chandler could be charged with attacking his ex-girlfriend within days – and it may rule him out of performing in the show’s final.

Last month it emerged he had been interviewed by police after the claims were made, but Adam has never been arrested.

Police will inform Adam, of Maidstone, Kent, this week on whether he will be charged.

It is hoped the allegations will not get in the way of the success of the group, who won over the public in Saturday's live show with a moving performance of Frank Sinatra's My Way.

A source close to Adam said: "Adam voluntarily spoke to the police regarding an alleged incident. He has never been arrested and refutes any claims of wrongdoing."

They will appear on ITV's This Morning around midday today (Monday, June 2).

The final is on ITV on Saturday, June 7 at 7pm.
