ANTI-HS2 campaigners from Harefield have reported being left with more questions than answers, after visiting the official roadshow last week.
HS2 Ltd laid on buses for residents to visit their exhibition in Amersham last week, where they were able to speak with officials behind the plans, and watch presentations.
But despite this, they were left frustrated at the lack of detail, especially with regard to Harefield.
Doreen McIntyre, vice chair of the Harefield Against HS2 group, said: "No detail was available on what noise barriers would be provided for the viaduct. I was advised to write to HS2 Ltd with specific questions.
"As for security issues there are no plans to restrict people from using boats or waterskis under the viaduct and around the piers. I'd like to see some consideration given to the risk of malicious damage to the viaduct."
The viaduct will be 3.6 kilometres across the Colne Valley, and would force the Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre to close.
Mrs McIntyre added: "Construction work on Moorhall Road will also be a problem. It is highly likely that it would need to be closed for at least a few weeks during the building and require a large detour for road users - vehicles heading to Harefield Hospital would be among those affected by that. Overall I would say it was well worth going but I came away with more questions that answers."
