Being on Hillingdon Homes' housing register for the previous seven years, living in a tiny two bedroom flat with my partner and three children ages two, 10 and 15 (two boys and one girl) we have heard many excuses as to why there are so few properties left to rent, so welcome the new development of housing association flats being built in Hayes town.

Yet recently I've seen advertised many of the new flats being built in Hayes town being offered to people outside our borough.

It clearly advertised 87 properties for local people.

With local doctors, dentists and schools at breaking point, wouldn't it be better to rehouse the local people in unsatisfactory housing conditions, rather than taking in others from out-side the borough?

Also, I've never seen the situation reversed.
