YOUNGSTERS welcomed Fusilier Ted back from Afghanistan at Hounslow Barracks on Friday.
The teddy bear travelled to Helmand province with the 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers to send information back to the children of soldiers serving on the front line.
He sent letters telling them about Afghanistan, the food and the weather and enclosed photos of himself in different settings as part of a project to help the youngsters feel more comfortable about their parents being away.
The majority of Hounslow's soldiers have now returned from Afghanistan and a parade is being held in the town on Tuesday, November 24.
