Having read in last week's Chronicle (November 27) about the incident of Mr Habicht, having his two lovely greyhounds mauled by a vicious rottweiller, of course the owner of this dog should foot the bill.
It should not have been off a lead if it is so nasty. Today we don't stick up for what is right, the damage to these two dogs looks dreadful.
And as for the RSPCA woman's remark that they could only prosecute if it was a deliberate attack, then what was this for God's sake?
