Hospital did a fine job for us

I am writing to praise Ealing Hospital for the wonderful way they looked after my husband Alan Battersby on Ward 5 South in the past few months.

I am writing to praise Ealing Hospital for the wonderful way they looked after my husband Alan Battersby on Ward 5 South in the past few months.

He was suffering from Parkinson's dementia, but everyone he came into contact with was kind, helpful and interested in him and did everything they could to make him comfortable. The cleanliness in the ward and the bed linen etc was wonderful, for which full marks.

I have often read of complaints in our local paper and so I am sending this letter as it is about time someone told the other side of the story.

At times my husband could be difficult, but all who attended him were gentle and understanding, and I could not praise all the staff more.
