Well not quite A-listers, but A-list look-a-likes at least, walked the red carpet in Harefield before a night at the movies all in aid of charity.

Kerry-Anne Mullins-Haughan organised the fundraiser at The Harefield pub in High Street, Harefield, for Michael Sobell Hospice - a cause close to her heart.

"My mum passed away there in 2000, and I was only nine at the time, so it's a charity that means a lot to me.

"They really really looked after her when she was there and I will always be grateful for that," she said.

Guests to Kerry-Anne's Saturday Night At The Movies event turned up in fancy dress and helped to raise more than £800.

"It was a fantastic night," she said. "We had a raffle with a couple of huge prizes donated. The pub was packed out and pretty much everyone dressed up.

"We had a few prizes for the best dressed people and it was a brilliant event," she said.

The hospice, in the grounds of Mount Vernon Hospital, is also the Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor  Catherine Dann ’s, chosen charity for her year of office this year.

She attended the event in Harefield to show her support for the fundraisers.
