Fashion chain H&M will mark the opening of its new Hounslow store next month by offering customers 25 per cent off all items that day.

Anyone queuing outside the doors of the outlet in Hounslow High Street before it opens at 11am on Thursday, November 13 will get their hand stamped, entitling them to the discount.

Customers can also pick up goody bags and enjoy music from a DJ during the day, while activities for little ones on the opening day and first Saturday will include face painting and balloon modelling.

Carlos Duarte, H&M's UK and Ireland manager, said: "We hope that local residents and the wider Hounslow

community will welcome our arrival and find H&M an inspiring fashion destination, delivering affordable fashion and quality at the best prices for the whole family, with new arrivals in store daily and something for everyone, no matter your age, budget or personal style."

H&M and Next are both opening two-storey outlets on the old Woolworths site in Hounslow's Treaty Centre in time for Christmas this year. H&M said its new store had created more than 30 new jobs.

The Treaty Centre has invited musicians and singers to entertain shoppers in the run up to Christmas.
