The Environment Agency has removed an earlier Flood Alert on the River Pinn during which many areas in Ickenham, Ruislip and Uxbridge flooded on Friday.

But the River Colne from Willowbank close to Oxford Road all the way to Uxbridge Moor, plus the Colne and Fray's River at West Drayton and Stanwell Moor is still covered by a Flood Warning as gardens and open areas remain waterlogged.

The latest information from the Environment Agency is: "We have received reports of flooding near to properties in The Common, West Drayton.

"Watercourses in this area remain high as a result of the rainfall over the last few days and there is still the potential for out of bank flooding which may affect properties.

"The forecast is mainly dry for Sunday and Monday with some blustery showers. Some further unsettled weather is forecast for next week.

"Due to the area being so saturated, more rainfall may see a further increase in river levels. We will monitor the situation closely."

Ruislip Lido has continued to rise over the weekend giving swans extra space to paddle about on the half hidden Willow Lawn in Reservoir Road, Ruislip.

On the opposite side of the water, the Lido's man-made beach was barely visible under the flood water.

Janet Stephenson, 71, who lives ion North Drive, Ruislip, sent in the photo (above) of swans swimming on the normally grassy Willow Lawn.

"I have lived in Ruislip for 50 years but rarely have I seen Ruislip Lido so flooded," she said.
