‘Harry T’ was following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps to complete the run for the first time this year.

Three generations of the Bryant family proudly show off their medals after completing the Hillingdon Half Marathon on Sunday.

George Bryant (82), Harry Williams Bryant (54) and Harry Thomas Bryant (29) all made it safely round the 13-mile course that started and finished at Brunel University in Uxbridge.

‘Harry T’ was following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps to complete the run for the first time this year.

George Bryant took part in 1985, the year ‘Harry T’ was born, and ‘Harry W’ has finished the race twice, the last time just under 20 years ago.

All three men have strong borough connections: George used to live in West Drayton, and both Harrys lived in Hillingdon for a number of years.

"They all definitely wanted to come back to do the race," said Harry Thomas's proud wife, Clare, who sent us this picture.
