HESTON Community School recorded its second best set of GCSE results ever, with 79 per cent of pupils getting five or more A*-Cs.
A total of 60 per cent got five or more A*-Cs including English and maths, slightly down on last year's 64 per cent.
Deputy headteacher Michael O'Hagan said he was delighted with the results, which reflected the hard work put in by students and staff.
