The owners of a missing chihuahua are desperate to find their 10-month-old dog who ran away three days ago during a walk in the park in Hanworth.

Lauren Warnock, 23, of Sandy Drive, in Bedfont is calling on the community to help find her mother's beloved black and white pet Poppy who broke away during a walk in Pevensey field near Wigley Road on Tuesday (April 29).

A friend had been looking after her on the day and had taken her out when Poppy cut loose from her lead and collar.

She has been spotted in the same area over the past few days but still not back with her owner.

Miss Warnock said: "I had two calls saying she had been seen. One person had seen her just after she ran away and another lady saw her at lunchtime yesterday (Wednesday).

"I went out calling and looking for her but could not see her.

"The weather is getting bad and wet. Noone can go near her as she's so scared she's running away from people."

Poppy has not been microchipped and has no dog collar.

If you have seen or see Poppy please call Lauren on 0798 435 0763.
