A 54-year-old man who accused of stabbing a woman to death in Neasden is to enter a plea next month after being refused bail.

Helen Dillon dead from a stab wound after an incident outside a property in Prout Grove on Thursday May 29. The incident left neighbours shocked, with one telling getwestlondon: "I'm leaving England for good".

Justice Cruickshank, 54, of Mandarin Court, Neasden, is accused of her murder. He appeared at the Old Bailey on Monday June 2 for a bail hearing but bail was refused and he was remanded in custody until his plea and case management hearing on Friday July 25.

Cruickshank previously appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 31, from where he had his case fast-tracked to the Old Bailey due to the severity of the case. He is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon (a knife).

Police said a 49-year-old man arrested on 29 May on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action.
