ST LUKE'S Hospice is appealing for adventurous people willing to freefall 20,000 feet to raise money for charity.

Participants will jump out of a plane strapped to a qualified instructor and experience 40 seconds of gliding through the sky.

All costs of the jump will be covered but participants are asked to raise a minimum level of sponsorship for St Luke's. The jumps will take place at Skydive Weston in Oxfordshire later this month.

If jumping out of a plane doesn't tickle you fancy, why not take part in the St Luke's Moonlight Walk on June 20.

Women are invited to dress in pink and walk 11 miles through Harrow, Harrow Weald, Stanmore and Kingsbury.

People can walk in memory of a loved one or just for fun, and although the walk is for women only, men are still needed to take part as stewards.
