Artwork made by schoolchildren has adorned the walls of a medical centre to liven up the atmosphere.

Pupils from Heathland School in Eastcote Lane, South Harrow, donated their collage, charcoal drawing, and watercolour painting works to neighbouring Simpson House Medical Centre on January 22.

The pictures were based on each child's interpretation of what Harrow means to them.

Dr Daniel Goldwater thanked the children for their pictures on the day, and said: “When I’ve had a tough day I’ll come and look at your pictures and I know that will make me feel happier.”
